When Should You Schedule a First Visit?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age 7. At this age, we can identify any early issues in jaw growth or tooth development and decide if early treatment is beneficial—or simply monitor progress over time.
For teens and adults, the first visit can happen anytime you’re ready to explore treatment options.

We’ll greet you with a smile and help you complete any new patient paperwork (or check what you’ve submitted online ahead of time).
Digital Imaging & Exam

We’ll take digital X-rays and/or a 3D scan to get a detailed look at the teeth, jaw, and facial structure. The orthodontist will then perform a thorough clinical exam.
